About

I’m Blair - a designer who overthinks everything and cares too much but also wants to have fun creating.

Personality traits include flowers, Charleston, illustrations, rearranging my apartment, podcasts, colors, interiors, and Taylor Swift. I’m a seeker, collector, decor hoarder, and visualizer, pushing myself to be more of a doer and care an appropriate amount.

I’ve been a graphic designer for over a decade, both in agency and freelance settings. I have always had a love for all things creative, starting with overdoing school projects to being the editor of the yearbook to attending NC State’s College of Design where I learned the foundations of systems design. Through my professional years of working I, like many, needed to find a way back to doing what I love and doing it for those who need the most help, but can’t afford or don’t need all that goes along with an agency.

As an Enneagram 1 and Pisces, I am a dreamer and a realist, insanely intuitive, and very passionate about the work that I do. I believe good design doesn’t have to be overly complicated – it should communicate by way of hierarchy, through color, typography, and layout, to be clear and purposeful. 

I love to decorate and help others do the same. If I’m not out taking pictures on walks or illustrating I’m probably probably rewatching Schitt’s Creek or other familiar favorites for the fourth or fifth time. And finally, flowers, the good flowers, are my favorite source of inspiration.
